    ‘The Beat Goes On’

Celebrating Twenty Years of Music at Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa.

On the 7th of March Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa will celebrate the twentieth anniversary of music at the college with a gala event in the Everyman Palace Theatre. Organised and presented by the current Higher National Diploma Music class, this event will showcase the breadth of talent that has emerged from the course since its inception.

Long recognised as an invaluable resource to Cork’s vibrant music scene, the course has equipped hundreds of students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in every aspect of the industry. Performing on the night will be past pupils Mick Flannery, Niall Connolly, Ten Past Seven, Áine Whelan & Sara Corkery and O Emperor.

Proceeds from the event will go towards the development of a dedicated Performing Arts Centre at Coláiste Stiofáin Naofa. This centre will focus instruction of all performing arts in one purpose-built location.

The show starts at 8 p.m. Tickets are priced at €18.00 and €15.00 and are available from the Everyman Palace Theatre.

Were getting close now, just a week to go so I thought i'd post a reminder here.
There's a lot of interest in this and tickets are going fast.

We've got a savage line up with more of our talented former students working behind the scenes,
like Ber Quinn from the Button Factory who's coming down to do sound,
and we'll even have a few of the current first year Artists contributing some music too.

Its shaping up to be an epic event, not to be missed!

    Joe.
