LG Cookie - displaying current position

Hello I’ve heard that most mobile phones can identify and display their position without GPS using only nearest mast location. Can LG Cookie be used this way i.e. to display current position on the map? LG Cookie has no GPS. I have map of Dublin on Cookie, want to use this feature if possible. Thanks
