Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fitting into my car (tall fella)

    Guys,

I notice that I barely fit into my car. I am 6'5". The car is a 1998 Corolla tilt back version. I am too tall for the car and my head is almost touching the ceiling even with seat lowered etc

Now prior to this car, I tried out the same car in the saloon version and there was loads of head room. Why would that be? Is there a physical difference in headroom between the tiltback and saloon versions? what about the hatchback?

    Many thanks

I assumed that the seat must have been more adjustable than it actually was, due to prior experience with the saloon version.
I still fit in the car and its ok but I'm curious why there is such a difference between the tiltback and the saloon

they're all the same size inside, but some have a height adjuster wheel on the side of the seat.

a sunroof will eat into headroom.

Maybe just do a search for the specs on the two cars to see if the headroom is different. It's the most popular car of all time so someone is bound to have come across it before if it's an issue.
