Mushrooms in Garlicbutter on some dry (yesterdays)bread.

Chop some garlic up and place them on a good piece of butter ,Put in a pot and heat(low) Add the mushrooms and let them simmer for about 5 minutes.Heat the bread in the oven .PLace the mushrooms on the bread and drizzle the remaing liquid on the bread .Sometimes I grill it .
    Man I AM HUNGRY:)

    I love this soup.

I leave out the flour and oyster sauce and sometimes add more milk.
I always blend it. It freezes well too!

My latest love afair with mushrooms is a brocolli and mushroom stir fry ;)

Boil the brocolli for 10 minutes to soften it a bit
Pop toasted seasame oil, soy sauce and a few finely chopped cloves of garlic in a wok/frying pan.
Stir fry quartered button mushrooms and brocolli until soft.

I've been having it on the side with homemade brown bread, with mayonaise and a sliced boiled egg hmmmmmm
I'm veggie and like my weird food for dinner but it's be lovely as the vegetable part of any dinner :D

while I'm at it I made this mushroom masala a while back,
Quite nice too (indian mushroom curry)
