Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Fashion magazines not aimed solely at women?

Among the mayhem of the internet, it can be hard to sort through all the info and find good mens fashion sites (though I think I might have hit the jackpot with http://www.fashionbeans.com/).

So does anyone know of any good fashion magazines that aren't aimed solely at women? There doesn't seem to be many magazines out there with good fashion content for guys. GQ seems to be considered the main one but I'm not too sure about it. I think something like InStyle but that was directed at both men and women would be ideal to have a look at before spending your hard earned cash. Does such a magazine exist?

I have two fashion mag subsrciptions; GQ and Details.

GQ in the states is more fashion oriented than GQ in the UK&Ireland. Details is another mag in the US (dont know if its is published in Ireland) but that is even more higher designer clothes (the one where they show you the designer of the clothes and the website but dont publish the price). Magazines wise thats all i know.

    Two good websites are:
    http://www.askmen.com/fashion/
    http://www.gq.com/style

They have nice articles on how to dress and simple rules, etc. but as they are US sites all their clothes are from US stores so you may not be able to get them in Ireland, but still gives you an idea of whats out there.

Cool, thanks for that. I reckon the designer stuff being too expensive isn't that much of an issue as long as you get a good idea of the style/trend (best to start with the ideal scenario anyway!). But sites with rules and how to dress aren't exactly what I'm looking for - I'm not afraid of looking stupid, I just want to keep an eye on the different looks that are out there!

    These three magazines should suffice:

    http://inventorymagazine.com/
    http://www.therakeonline.com/
    http://monocle.com/

Bearing in mind your username, the first should particularly appeal to your tastes.

Thanks for those. On first impressions, I'd say my tastes would be far less 'classical' than The Rake's target market. InventoryMagazine.com is definitely my favourite of those. Cheers
