Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    folks me old man lost the keys to his trusty 01 toyota corolla,now hes after been quoted prices from 400 to 600 to get locksmith out,mad money,what other choices does he have??as im sure them corollas have an imobilisor(spell)....cheers folks

    Yes main dealer should be able to get a set for less I would think, possibly half that amount for 2.

    Im sure you could do better than that price. Have you tried the lock hospital in dublin (I just think everyone comes from dublin). Any point buying a key off ebay? and then get it coded if it works out cheaper to do it that way.

    He may need to get a full kit from a breaker.

    Afaik you need key to get a key coded from toyota. Toyota could cut one that'll open the doors but it wont start the car.

    get you car engine number from either ur service or log book and go to main dealer and ask for a key to be cut from that....they should have it in there systems.....maybe...thats how they do it now
