Outdoor animal sports?

I HATE basketball but my mum said I have to get another hobby to quit it.I live in the limerick/Clare area are there any animal related sports (apart from horse riding) please help :)

Do you have a dog?
If so there's plenty of agility clubs around, that involves lots of running around with your dog.

Second vote for agility, Midwest Dog Training club were very active in Limerick when I lived there. It's a great sport, and there's a great social life to go with it!
