New Tom Tom xl classic route planner question

    Right I bought a Tom Tom xl classic today.

    One thing that is wreaking my head is that I can’t seem to make a route via back roads.

    On Google maps you can enter your start point and destination point then drag the mouse over various points along the route and move the points to re route your journey via another road.

    On the tom tom route planner it only asks for a start point and destination point. It won’t let me drag it to Via another route.

    Basically I want to plan a route that avoids Abbeyleix.


    Any help?:confused:

    On the route summery screen does a button display "find alternative"?
