Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm going to predict 4-1 to Chelsea.

    Scoring At The Bridge
    Money-Back Special
If John Terry scores at any time (including an own goal) Paddy Power will refund all losing 1st/last goalscorer, correct score & scorecast singles on the match.

The bet doesn't qualify for the special but I'm liking over 2.5 goals @ 5/6

If we defend like we did against United, Chelsea could easily get that themselves!

Arsenal team according to John Cross:

    Almunia
    Sagna Vermaelen Gallas Clichy
    Song Cesc Diaby
    Walcott Arshavin Nasri

Arsenal team according to John Cross:

    Almunia
    Sagna Vermaelen Gallas Clichy

    Walcott Arshavin Nasri

Not bad apart from Arshavin up top again.

Looking at the Arsenal team I'll say 2-1 Chelsea. Too strong, for me. Let's hope I'm wrong.

Thats a full-strength defense and midfield - up front I'm not sure. I'd probably have Rosicky on the right because we know what he can do - be interesting to see Walcott up against Ashley Cole though I guess. Other than that the team picks itself.

    Come on the Arsenal!

Happy to see Diaby in there, but not confident at all...

Really looking forward to this. I think Arsenal have it in them to get the 3 points.

Suspect Walcott is in there to try to discourage Cashley from going forward - first two goals at Emirates came from crosses from Chelsea's left.

Chelsea going 4-5-1 by the looks of it. Hope we don't stupidly play into their hands like we did against at home against them and United before. Need to be conservative, compact and try to counter.

Will be hoping for an Arsenal win today, expecting a Chelsea one. 4-3 and a couple of sendings off would be good.

    3-1 arsenal.

CHD's positivity is going to work counter here i hope :pac:

    Come on Chels!

Drogba anytime scorer 6/5 looks a good bet.

Didier Drogba has scored 10 goals in his last nine appearances against Arsenal in all competitions.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 3,875 ✭✭✭ShoulderChip

    Cech;
    Ivanovic, Terry, Carvalho, Cole,
    Ballack, Mikel, Lampard, Malouda,
    Anelka, Drogba.

Not the strongest of teams, will be interesting to see how Mikel does

Good, laws of probability suggest he's due for a game without scoring. :D

As a neutral I'd like Arsenal to win this. Would like a three horse race come the end of the season.

Hopefully a cracking game in prospect.

I'm hoping for a Sagna->Fabregas Hattrick, with Malouda and Ballack setting each other up for 2 :)

10 goals in 11 games vs arsenal

    /or other way round

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 36,369 ✭✭✭✭SlickRic

so, i reckon Chelsea might be able to sort out the goal difference Utd built up from yesterday if that defending's anything to go by.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 51,342 ✭✭✭✭That_Guy

What can Arsenal do now. They need the next goal or it's curtains.
