Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Yo all, i gotta EVGA nforce 780i SLI, and the current RAM in my system is [Corsair 1024mb, 800Mhz, 5-5-5-18, and 1.80V]

so i bought an extra 2 gbs and it was incompatible the timings were not the same so i suggest thats why it didnt work!

so i found a RAM slighty fimiliar to my current set except the voltage is off by 1, will it still work?

    Current RAM set [Corsair 1024mb, 800Mhz, 5-5-5-18, and 1.80V]

    New RAM i want [Corsair 1024mb, 800Mhz, CL5, 1.9v

Will this be ok to mix?

Timings are controlled by bios, so it is downgraded to weakest one.
DDR2 works at 1.8 volts, 1.9 is maximum stable voltage.
If you don't change the value for voltage to 1.9 in bios everything will be fine.
That two corsairs should work fine in dual channel.
Can you explain what action happened to make you say that they are incompatable, the two of them you bought.?
Did you try to force timings?
