Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,
Yesteday I purchased a GHD styler (the Precious gift set one) from a salon in Galway. Last night I went online and attempted to register the styler and got the following message:

    "Sorry, there was a problem.
The codes on your styler were not recognised, please try again."

Has anyone else had this issue and any idea why it may be occuring?

    Thanks so much :)

    It could be fake...

It could very well be fake, the codes one real ones get accepted straight away, ring GHD give them the code over the phone, if they declare it fake then take it straight back.

The salon is not gonna want you kicking up a fuss in front of their customers that they sold you a fake GHD so you should have no problem getting your money back.

I gave GHD a ring earlier and they didn't say it was a fake. The woman checked the code but said something about information not being available at the current time??
Gonna give the salon a ring tomorrow and see what the story is.

Thats what I'm hoping if it comes to that. Only thing is is the salon is TINY so everything said is kind of heard by everyon and it could be mighty awkward for everyone involved.
