No It seemed pretty straight forward of what tasks were for who. I sent legion into the vent as he was technically way ahead of everyone else or something like that (in the summary). And I had Garras as the team leader as he lead his own military group or something like that.

Mordin was just in the bigger group each time. Shepard asked was everyone alive and it showed Jack dead and Mordin lying up against a wall...?

So is there any other reason he would of died?

All I can think of is did you upgrade his special omni tool and did you have each character leveled up at the end, assign all their skill points because I think this has an effect in the last mission weather they are apart of your team or not.

Jack will die regardless if you don't have her loyalty, I even kept her with me the entire time because I knew something would happen but she got crushed in the end anyway.

I didn't have Jack's loyalty and she still survived for me. Granted, I initially had her loyalty but lost it in taking Miranda's side in that fight. I didn't lose a single character, which was a bit of an anti-climax. Will give it another playthrough soon and just renegade my way through, as I had a very balanced Shepard this time.

I think if you put her in a fire team with Garrus or Jacob/Miranda as the leader they will ensure everyone survives.

Same goes for whoever you put in the pipe (Tali/Legion - anyone else dies) - if the leader of the first fire team isn't one of the three above, the person in the pipe dies.

Jack survived for me and she wasin my team the whole time. Maybe it was because she was my romantic interest.

Tali was the only one who died on my team and she was loyal. Sent her on the vents mission.

well if u have everyone loyal then put first garrus second miranda in charge of fire teams take samara or jack as your biotic and tali or legion as specialist for the vents. think theres other combos that work but i dont know any other person with team leader experience and i didnt wanna chance my arm with the same person twice .

yeah think it depends on what u make them do . like if u send an un loyal person to lead a team or someone without the experience they'l die . if u pick the wrong biotic or there not loyal i think they die . and if there not loyal and u bring them for the last section they die . so maybe u gave jacob and jack jobs but not legion ?

Shagged Miranda, Blew up the base and lost both Jack and Grunt. Pissed off at their loss as I spent ages getting everybodies loyalty and upgrading the ship. Still not sure where I went wrong. Don't have a save file either for the final assualt.

no sure about Grunt, but you can lose Jack's loyalty by hooking up with Miranda, depending on how you handle the fight between the two of them.

That must explain it. Rough justice for Jack though. Basically she gets a bullet in the head because my guy wouldn't touch her - owing to the fact that she looked like she had space clap - over Miranda.

Can't think of anything that would have upset Grunt; even got him his shotgun.

I lost Jack's loyality and she died when a chunk of wall fell on her.

You can solve the fight between Miranda and Jack if your Paragon or Renegade are high enough and both will still be loyal.

Same with Tali and Legion but you don't need to be as high in Paragon or Renegade.

Did you get his two vitality upgrade too, I think they make a big difference. He become a damage sponge with those.

hmm, I had sided with Miranda in the argument and pi$$ed off Jack. She wouldn't talk to me the rest of the game but I chose her to create the barrier and she survived to the end no bother.

I lost Zaeed and Legion. Really annoyed to lose Legion, he was a handy little sniper.

Went with the Paragon ending too.

I finally got around to finishing this last night. I loved the final mission. Fantastic game. Can't wait to play through it again.

Anyway, I romanced Yvonne Strahovski (who wouldn't?), and told Martin Sheen what to do with himself at the end. I really wish I had the opportunity to kill him.

Saved all the redshirts as well, but lost 5 team-members. Garrus, Samara, Legion, Grunt and Jack. Only really cared about Garrus though. I don't know why he died. I did his loyalty mission. Didn't even notice that Legion was gone until I checked the crew status after, pfft.

Tbh even on my next playthough I think I'll still let some of them die. It's not a proper suicide mission if everyone survives (BSG writers, take note).

it is downloadable now. Looks to be very poor. only takes 20mins or so to complete, only new weapon is an SMG (which is ment to be a very good SMG though) Doesn't look worth the 560MS points, won't be getting it myself.

Might replay the suicide mission, and send legion down the pipes. Get to level 30 and replay as renegade and score jack and talk and have dinner with Kelly and save all the crew. Phew, I'm gonna be busy

Miranda. I was a complete paragon, didn't really like cerberus but I figured she was a challenge.

Err... Kelly I think her name was, yer one who tells you you have mail. Don't know why? Everyone else survived. Entire team was loyal. Sent Kasumi up the vents, Miranda then Garrus leading fire teams and sent Jacob back with the doctor and rest of the crew. I had upgraded the Normandy fully.

Yeah, I figured it could be used against the greater evil. Also, if Cerberus become a problem I don't think I'll have too much trouble blowing it up.

Yeah, didn't even realise you could die at the end.

I was cold enough with him. Though he was happy I didn't blow up the base.

What Happens Next?

Level 30 Renegade Insanity. Only going to do loyalty missions for crew I actually use this time. I've played it for an hour or so. It's a lot more fun. You are actually forced to think tactically. In my first play through I'd just headshot my way through with sniper rifle/heavy pistol, always worked, I think I only died about 5 times in the whole game.

As you can see I sucked at this game, didnt even play it properly. Finished it in 15 hours going by the thing, and that was with loads of pointless mining. Going to give it another go later in the summer, go for Paragon and try and get the most from the game.

Any tips? I wanted to keep my crew alive also

What Happens Next?

Reapers are coming, thats clear. It would be cool if the Rachni sided with me from ME1 after saving their queen or Legion got a bunch of Geth on our side. I still have that dirty info on Cerberus that I kept to myself which may be useful in ME3, we'll see.

Totally awesome game, cannot wait now for the final installment, hopefully same crew and a few old friends. I don't fancy recruiting 10 more party members again in 3, I can't see why it should happen as everyone survived, then again if they didn't survive in a different playthrough it would be necessary.
