Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Anyone need some out-of-date rolls of films?

    I have six rolls of film (24 exposure) but they are out of date since 2002. Are they of any use to anyone on here? I'm not a film camera guy, but I've heard they might be of interest to someone, and I'm loathe to bin them without offering them around first.

    If you want them, let me know. I'm in Dublin...

    Give Simplicius them and take a commission, he flogged fuji film Unicare pharmacies were giving to photographers for free on ebay for €12 per roll + €5 p&p so you could negotiate 50% profit for €36!

    no, they just didnt know it could be got for free. I gave plenty of the stuff away for free myself, and not just to people here on boards.ie

    That's not true. Mostly they were too lazy. Instead of looking up the phone number for a few Unicares and calling them, people just posted here asking if there was any left. Makes sense to try the places that actually have the film Plenty of times I told people on here there was some left and I've even give a lot of it away to people. Only two weeks ago I noticed they still had some left.

    you're saying people are paying for film on ebay that they can collect themselves for free? the only people who knew about the free film were posters on this forum

    Sorry, I thought we were talking about people on this forum. My original post was refering to the commonly held thought on here that's it's wrong to sell these films. I was just saying there's nothing wrong with selling them, especially as there is still free film left regardless of how many some people took to sell on.

    I thought it was like 12 euro for like 5 or 10 rolls?

    Fair play I say, I would have done it myself if they were giving it out down here.

    If he actually SOLD it to people on boards then fair enough.
