    Gonna head to carlow for the weekend with my gf.Can anyone recommend a good hotel with a short walk to all loacal pubs.(Not looking for anything cheap)

    Never been to carlow so I know dont have a clue where to stay

    The Seven Oaks is the place to go.

    There are other hotels in town, but if you're bringing the missus, then you're best off with the oaks.

    Med bar, Barracks, Teách Dolmen for beers, or down to Scraggs or Tullys if you want it a bit more lively (younger crowd).

    Planty of places to eat too.
    Italian Connection or Little Venice for Italian
    Pearls or Shapla for Indian
    Lotus for Chinese
    Plus loads more.

    Depending on when you're coming down,
