    Hi All,

    I am trying to set up GPRS and MMS on a HTC Tattoo on the meteor network with out any luck,

    using the following settings, and assuming the proxy server is the same as IP address?

    If anyone could shed some light on it.

    METEOR Settings

    GPRS WAP: (from Faltermyer)

    Profile Name: Meteor GPRS WAP
    IP Address: 010.085.085.085
    Homepage: http://wap.mymeteor.ie
    Port Number: 9201
    Connection Type: GPRS
    APN: wap.mymeteor.ie
    Username: my
    Password: wap

    CSD / Dial-Up WAP: (from Chillwithcian)
    Dial - up Number: +353857019999
    Call Type: ISDN
    Log in Name: My
    Password: WAP
    IP Address: 010.085.085.085
    IP Port: 9201
    Home URL: http://wap.mymeteor.ie
    Linger time: 60 seconds

    Troubleshot:
    * Check customer has sufficient call credit.
    * Try switching from Analogue to ISDN or vice versa.
    * Check Dial up number (0857019999).

    MMS GPRS: (from Faltermyer)
    Profile Name: Meteor MMS
    IP Address: 010.085.085.085
    MMS Server URL / Homepage: http://mms.mymeteor.ie
    Port Number: 9201
    Connection Type: GPRS
    APN: mms.mymeteor.ie
    Username: my

    Profile Name: Meteor ISP
    Connection Type: GPRS
    APN: isp.mymeteor.ie
    Username: my
    Password: isp
    IP and DNS are supplied on connection.


    WAP 2.0 Settings (from Karsini)

    GPRS (WAP 2.0):

    APN: wap.mymeteor.ie
    Homepage: http://www.mymeteor.ie
    Proxy Server: 10.85.85.85
    Port: 8799

    MMS (WAP 2.0):

    APN: mms.mymeteor.ie
    Homepage: http://mms.mymeteor.ie
    Proxy Server: 10.85.85.85

    my settings are for a hero but i don't see why they shouldn't work as they work on 2G or 3G for me. They may help ya anyways:

    Name: meteor data

    the rest not set until

    Hi , I bought a unlocked tattoo in spain and was working fine on my network in spain, but meteor have told me settings and they dont seem to be working

    at the moment my access point settings are:

    Name: meteor
    APN: Data.mymeteor.ie (they told me it had to be a capital d)
    Proxy: not set
    Port: not set
    Username: not set
    Password: not set
    Server: not set
    MMSC: http://mms.mymeteor.ie
    MMS proxy : 010.85.85.85
    MMS port: 8799
    MMS protocol: WAP 2.0
    MCC: 272
    MNC: 03
    Authentication: :PAP
    APN type : mms




    Its not connecting to the internet and i havent tried sending a pic message via mms.
    Does anyone know where im going wrong? I dont want to change from meteor but i rang them 6 times and they cant figure out why its not working.
