Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

We got about 40 shots in all. Here are the best, most diverse 15 of the bunch. All the PP work was done to try and get a fun photo realistic kind of effect. I think I achieved that. :)

The image size limit of this thread prevents me from displaying this the way i'd like to. It really needs to be seen extra large (5970x1024px @1.7MB) to be appreciated. ;)

absolutely marvellous Dave. I've done a few of these recently, in fact I have one to do this weekend. I call them granny specials - get all grandkids on one big shot - they grannies love them ! Get Steve to print this out on a hard mount, they really come out a treat...

Thanks Kyle. I've been trying to get this PP effect for a while now. I think i nailed it this time thanks to the lights. Most of the creativeness comes from Jessica having fun with this. It's really shows.

Cheers Masada, Been getting mixed reactions to that one. :)

Thanks Paul. I'd love to have one of those Lastolite HiLite thing a ma-gigs. Looks like it does an excellent job. Jessica's Ma and Gran love these too.

Btw, Good luck with the shoot this weekend.

I tried a reworked version of an old shot by tonemapping the single raw. Below is the first version (from about 2 years ago without tonemapping). I know a lot of people don't like tonemapping/hdr but I love the detail/textures in brings out in the first one.

I much prefer the second one to be honest.

if the 2nd one had the tonemapped sky then it would be perfect.

    Reworked one from last summer.

Does that need to be rotated right slightly or am I just lopsided again?

    The images are not showing.

Anyway, you should post it up for C&C in a thread of its own. The mods don't really encourage C&C in this thread.

I have found that exact mountain range very difficult to shoot. The lighting is never good so I can see why your shot is very dark. Nice composition tho
