Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    can anybody tell me how to remove the "write protection" feature on my hard disk/drive to edit my files.:o:P

    There is no write protect feature on a hard drive. Not unless you mean an external USB drive that has a button for it (rare).
    If your file system is NTFS though there is the possibility to secure files.

    Maybe you should clarify exactly what you are talking about and if you are getting an error, post a screenshot or something.

    hi saruman..apologies for my lack of computer knowledge in terms of describing what i mean but your right , it would be the external usb drive it is asking me to free up the volume on my phillycollege.documents/usb and this is what the message sends back...on my usb pen there is a small lock symbol with a button on it ill push it and see if anything changes..its soo annoying for college stuff..
