Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Best video connector for monitor?

My graphics card has VGA, DVI and HDMI outputs. I've always used the VGA as, simply put I didn't have a DVI cable and found nothing wrong with the picture quality. I'm in the market for a new monitor and one of the models I'm interested in has no DVI connection, but has HDMI. The other one has a USB video connection, which I found rather odd.

What video connector do you use, and why?

I use VGA because that is what my monitor uses.

In the grand scheme of things, VGA vs DVI vs HDMI on a PC monitor makes little difference.

Assuming the native resolution of the monitor = one "compatible" with HDMI, i.e. the HDMI interface doesn't perform any scaling on the input, then it should give you great image quality.
