Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi all

ive 2 xbox's,b both RROD, and error 0020.

was error 0102 to begin with.

did the x-clamp fix on both, no effect.

tried a heat gun, now im getting error 0020.

    ****edit*****
    reflowed gpu/hana chip/ram.

got a green light, just flashes, then turns to RROD and error code 0022.

how long you were heatgunning? does chips look lifted or dropped? What might happened is that 2 balls joined together.

Had one of this, second or third heatgunning solved the problem.

0020 can also indicate the screws are too tight, loosen them a quarter turn each time (as long as tension is maintained) and try again.

was heatguning it for a few minutes, 3-4, heat gun is 300 and 600c

i done both sides, covered everything up.

now, all i get is a green flashing light, no picture, or sound. dvd wont eject, and the flashing green light turns to error 0022

ive the xbox powered up outside of the case, no screws just the clamp with plastic washers, its not to tight.

but i tried without the clamp, just term paste adn heatsink on top, failed, tried clamp with no washers, failed, and then again with washers. it doesnt seem to matter how much presure is on the chips, same thing happens every thie.

flashing green light, then RROD error 0022!! im at this the last 6hrs!!

0022 suggests you have a solder bridge under the GPU, and a disconnect to the ANA chip.

Get out the heatgun, and try again.
