Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Need to buy lens compatible with Canon 20D

Hi, the lens I bought with original package has given a fair bit of trouble, it zooms in and out when trying to auto focus- so I have to manually focus-which is next to impossible with this lens, had it repaired twice at great expense by canon in London-and then it happened again...anyone else had this problem? I need a new lens, if anyone has one for sale-wide angle zoom. or if anyone has a bargain -digital camera, lenses for sale of similar quality...I might be interested! Thanks

Thanks, would appreciate your opinion on which lens would you deem superior?

    $64,000 question.

It depends on what you want to shoot. You can pick up an 18-55mm Canon zoom for €100 or even a 50mm f1.8 prime for about €80. The zoom is an ideal starter lens to get you going. If you have a few quid to spend, then spend a bit of time reviewing the various lenses before you buy. Google DP Review and start reading up.
