Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Make: NISSAN
    Model : Almera
    Build Start Date : 01/12/1997
    Build End Date : 25/05/1998

Concern : FRONT SEAT BELTS MAY FAIL TO LOCK
Description : Due to an assembly concern with the front seat belt retractor mechanism, there is a possibility that the seatbelts may fail to lock. This was highlighted during impact testing.

Hopefully this was sorted out at the time :)

Yeah, is there any way to check what build you have other than by the dates? Kind of concerning.

Do these uk recalls apply in the ROI?

My car has a problem with the intermediate steering shaft and after recent events I was browsing recall data. The part is due to be replaced at the next service at a cost of €450 (€270 for the part, rest in labour according to my local dealer)... but I notice there is a recall for the same part on this uk website on my model of Corolla. The dealer didn't inform me that there was a recall on it... I'm going to print out the data and bring it to them anyway, to try to fight my case but I'd like to know first if they definitely apply in the ROI or is there a different system for here.

I'd imagine that the recalls would be the same for UK and Eire, but your always best to check with the individual distributor to be sure.
