F1 in Gaiety Cinema

    Hello all,

    I am a BIG Formula 1 fan and today I called the Gaiety manager to enquire if they would consider showing the F1 races in HD Live stream this year and was delighted to hear that yes, it is on the plan but is not fully confirmed. This year is shaping up to be a very exciting year (Schumi back, new points system, teams, rules etc etc) and I imagine the viewing experience will be greatly enhanced by viewing it in Hi-Def on the big screen. I hope those of you with any interest in the sport should at least give it a try, there are no prices yet but I will be in contact with the manager and try to make it as affordable as possible. I will be encouraging to offer a full season ticket at a substantial discount.

    I will keep you updated.

    Provided their gear can support HD BB.

    Went there not so long ago and the quality was crap. my DVD's were better picture quality, and they weren't even HD ones.

    Good idea though.

    I agree as well it is a v good idea but those screens are the worst I ever seen.

    wish they would do a season of classic movies like pulp fiction , lawerence of arabia ect. would be better than the bull s*** thats usually on there . i havent been to cinema for couple of years , nothing i'd want to watch.:(

    I don't know why every cinema, especially one the size of sligo, doesn't dedicate a screen to classics and or foreign film tbh. Maybe not worth their while, but I'd go :o
