    Hi All,

    I'm new to boards. I have just recently set up my own business as a reiki practitioner. I have found that reiki on animals in particular is amazing and very rewarding.

    Has anyone else experienced this? I'm considering focusing on animal reiki. Does anyone think there is an opening for such a service?

    Hi there,

    Im pretty sure there are people out there specialising in animal reiki (more specifically equestrian and canine reiki). I met someone at the Pet Expo held in Mallow last year who was doing it, and I have come across courses in Animal Reiki in the past!

    I do animal reiki. Never as a business though, just as a friend of a friend type thing. I'd recommend asking in the spirituality forum if you are looking to see how viable that is as a business.

    I've use Reiki for the dogs and horses for years. Over six years ago a friend of mine started coming up to EGAR to help with sick, shy and aggressive animals through Reiki. He does it for free and never viewed it as a business, he is quite busy as he goes and visits older peeps etc as well, also as a courtesy and without payment.
