    - accents
    - architecture
    - consumer lifestyle
    - class system
    - language
    - media
    - culture
    - political system
    - etc., etc.

When are we going to grow up and be honest with ourselves? Is celebrating 2016 really something to be proud of?

    Ugh, here we go.

    -Accents are very different.
-Modern architecture? There's not much variance anywhere, not just here and the UK. If you're talking about historical buildings then gee, I wonder how that happened.
-Yup, Ireland and Britain are the two most consumerist nations around.
-Class system is very different, I'd've said ours is probably closer to America's minus their relatively massive underclass.
    -Yep.
-Alas so. But hey, people seem happy to go with it.
-Again very different depending on what you look like. Culture is rarely a nation-wide thing, looks at the massive variations in Spain/France etc.
-Is it a King or Queen we have right now?
    -etc. etc.
