It's near impossible to organise a big name music event in Ireland without going through the likes of MCD. It would be a fools errand to think different.

Am I right in thinking it's a subsidiary of MCD that's organising this particular event because they have an exclusive arrangement with TicketMaster for tickets yet this event was handled by a different crowd. It's about time that the big promoters start to recognise Waterford as a realistic venue though and hopefully the speed at which the tickets were snapped up will create a good, lasting impression on the organisers.

Yup in Leeds, and he rocked the place, was a great night, but the Venue was 4 times the size of the Forum, I dont think he is going to do a **** set, just because its Waterford lol

friend of mine went..said it was the worst night she ever had in forum..apparently just him and a DJ but no band? no idea, don't even know who he is really but according to her it wasn't great

Yeah I'd say alot of the people there didn't realise what they were getting themselves in for

He played a stomper really enjoyed it, apart from all the scumbags and the fact that I could barely move at all!

And as for the tickets, what a joke! I ordered them online so had to print them off, presumed the barcode would be scanned on the way in like all tickets nowadays. But all the girl did was look at my printed page and throw it in the bin!! I could have printed about 40 of my ticket, handed them out and everyone would've got in... Surely they should have a better system?
