Promptly deleted Windows and spent two days trying to figure out how the fuck do I get my network card working with Fedora, eventually gave up and used Ubuntu

Also got books:





Have access to an online copy, but I hate reading off a screen

Basically, I want to learn C

Oh, I'll remain one of those horrible OSX lovers >_>, but I do want to use linux a bit more.

Middle one was recommended on the Development forum so I thought I'd check it out, seems great!

Its an amazing city Its so open, anything goes, I think if anyone of older generations went there they'd have a heart attack :P Its so pretty aswel, we went in February when it was snowing, it was gorgeous

I'm just back from Amsterdam. The Dublin airport closures had me stuck over there for an extra three nights. If I see another canal, clog or stroopenwaffel I'll actually cry.

Hahaha! Ah you have to admit, its still pretty nice! Did you fly from Eindhoven or Amsterdam? I wouldn't envy being stuck in Eindhoven airport for 3 days. Ryanair and its sneaky sending you to airports miles from the actual city you want to go to :rolleyes:

Made the mistake of flying into eindhoven last xmas with ryanair. Booked our flights with aer lingus this year. Flying straight into amsterdam is much handier. Literally 15 mins from schipol to central station on the train.

Ach, I might go back during the summer and get stuck into some gezelligheid. It is quite pretty in the snow though.
