PowerPoint Question

I've inserted 2 graphs in a PowerPoint 7 presentation.

One is a series of circles/baloons in a circular shape.

The other is a set of arrows in a clockwise circle.

When I run the slideshow, each slide is appearing in full without any transition affect.

In other words, on slide 1, all the baloons appear at the same time and on slide 2 all the arrows appear together.

I need them to appear individually. Could do it no problem with earlier versions of PowerPoint but I'm struggling with PP 7???

In Powerpoint select "Animations", it's about center on the command ribbon at the top.

You should see "Custom Animation" over on the left, click that and it should open the animation window on the right allowing you access to all the timeline features, animations and so on.

Thanks Antar. I'd already tried that... The item I'm using is a SmartChart & even though I've assigned individual animations to each arrow/text box, the whole chart appears in one go...

I think it may be a single item that can't be divided. I'm going to try putting in arrows individually rather than using the template. Thanks anyway.

For anyone interested I've cracked it...

Simply click on the SmartChart to select it... then right click... then select the "Group" option & click on "Ungroup"

For some reason, you need to repeat this process a second time (don't know why) and then you can select the text & arrows individually.
