Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'll be watching Portsmouth versus Sunderland if I can find a stream, Sunderland have been woeful of late, might just see those rarest of things, a Pompey win.

Some great games on tomorrow, I'll be on a train to Dublin while they're on so I'll be pestering my gf for update texts :p

I'll be hoping rather than expecting Everton can get something from Chelsea, but we don't half look crap without Mo Fro.

Interesting call there on United game.Question is do Villa have enough fire power up front. United are flying up front at the moment although Villa will be well organised at the back. How many goals do we reckon for that game?

If you mean in terms of betting, 0 - 0 @ 15/2 is probably the most likely to get a return, provided Dunney and Collins can contain Waz. This is assuming John Carew starts instead of Heskey, which will essentially force Villa to play ineffective long-ball all night (sorry MON), hanging on by the skins of their teeth for the draw.

In the unlikely event that Delfouneso get's a run, I fancy him to score for Villa early on (which he has been doing a fair bit this season when given a chance in cup games) but I see on Paddy Power the odds of him scoring first are only 11-1, which is a bit disappointing. To put that in perspective, he hasn't started a PL game all season, yet somehow has shorter odds than Young, Milner and Downing - all first team regulars. Something a bit queer there... (then again, Heskey's odds of scoring first are 9-1 despite him being as prolific as an 80-year-old eunuch this season and likely to miss the game through injury)

Finally, given Villa's tendency to score, sit back and then hit teams late on the break for a second, 2-0 @ 22-1 may also be worth a quiet punt.

So in sum, United to win 4-0. :D

    stop the presses!

Dunne is a contender for buy of the season tbh he has been immense for Villa since signing, still finding hard to even contemplate a league double over united...or a treble inc the Carling cup... so think illl just avoid predicting on it alltogether

Portsmouth down to 10, as far as I can gather, Rocha has gone off, but it should have been Yebda

Seems like the correct guy (Rocha) went off eventually...

Sunderland goal: So much to talk about there. Darren Bent races through on goal and Ricardo Rocha tries to get across to cover - as he does, Bent goes down and referee Kevin Friend awards a penalty. He flourishes a red card too, but it's a case of mistaken identity as he issues it to Hassan Yebda initially. The Algerian is furious and refuses to go - David James tries to force him off the pitch, but Yebda refuses to go and in the end Friend shows the red card to Rocha. Up steps Darren Bent to slot the penalty into the bottom corner. Phew.

    also Wigan 1 Stoke 0

Loads, they've outspent Liverpool in both the last two seasons. I thought they'd really make a go of it this year.

    I thought they would too.

I thought the Cana Cattermole midfield pairing would be great, but with injuries and the inevitable suspensions for the pair given the nature of their play it hasn't been.

It is more a confidence thing now, Every single player in the team is lacking in it, you can see it week in week out.

How much would you like to bet on that? Our Chairman will give him time to build his own team, he's only been in the job for a little over 6 months, teams aren't bulit in 6 months like. You only have to look at those cretins up the road from us to see what happens when managers are constantly sacked when some fans get restless.

Our Net Spend was a little over £13m and some of Bruce's transfer business was fantastic, £10m rising to £16m seemed a little pricey at first, but he's well on his way to repaying that fee as things stand. Getting the likes of Cattermole, Cana and Turner in for the likes of Collins, Whitehead and Leadbitter was superb business too, especially at a little over £13m.

Thankfully our Chairman also has some sense, unlike some of the clueless ****wits on here who claim he won't last the season.

Why oh why are Sky showing a match that has no real meaning in the title race and there are 2 matches going on that could have a massive impact on where the title is going this season. Utd away to Villa and Chelsea away to Everton are the main games tonight.

Surely they could have re-arranged one of them for last night.
