Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

looking forward to the game. Will be tight i think. Thinking it will be a draw. Arsenal cant possibly be that bad defensively for a third game in succession.

Arsenal have been poor defensively for a lot more than two games now.

It's just Drogba and Rooney had the class to really punish them for it.

Really looking forward to this one actually. Both teams well capable of scoring so there should be a bit of entertainment at least.

Ah those who still have faith in football fans :)

I was tempted by the usual suspects, but thought I'd go for someone different for a change.

    Bendtner starts, thank Christ

Riera really seems to have fallen out of favour.

Maxi is due a run of games, would you have dropped Dirk or Dave for Riera ? Nice option to have on the bench.

    Bendtner thank Fúck.

It's much of a muchness really. Maxi and Riera are fairly similar in terms of workrate and ability to keep possession.

I just think it's unusual how few games Riera has started.

It is possible that Riera has falled out of favour but you also make a good point. We have quite a few options available on the left wing these days and only one can play.

by being injured most of the season? every time he has come back rafa has thrown him into the starting xi so maybe just taking his time with us winning and stuff

Woah... Did you read my post? Maybe I wasn't clear. I was playing down the notion that he has maybe fallen out of flavour.

What're the odds on Webb fcuking up massively??

  • Closed Accounts Posts: 15,116 ✭✭✭✭RasTa

over 2.5 goals @ evens. Hopefully Liverpool score first.

  • Registered Users Posts: 998 ✭✭✭Kingdom

If Maxi wasn't starting games, surely there'd be a fuss over that? Kuyt can't be dropped for obvious goalscoring reasons, and more hidden hardworking ones, meaning Dave uptop is the sensible option.

sol cambell interview just there never heard him speak before.
has a very feminine voice haha :P
bentner starts never really rated him more oafish and clumsy on the ball than your typical arsenal player has been over the years.

He's made quite a few gaffes ever since that penalty decision last season at OT against Spurs so it wouldn't surprise me.

I think a draw would do nicely tonight. Not a big fan of either club;)

Don't worry, you'll have 90 minutes of Andy Gray discussing Liverpool for you.

If anyone's watching this on Sky, does anyone else think that Nasri looked rather sinister in his lineup photo?

    Nice flick from Bendtner.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

That little dragback-backheel from Song was very RVP-esque.

  • Registered Users Posts: 5,209 ✭✭✭Redzer7

    Nasri looks....... stoned......

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 23,570 ✭✭✭✭Frisbee

Doesn't look like Nasri is going to be able to continue.

Please Rosicky and not Walcott to replace him...

Awful game of football so far.

Arsenal trying the killer ball far too often and wasting possession. If we played the possession game we did against Chelsea on Sunday we'd be onto something.

Great play by Arsenal. Good hold up play orginally from Bendtner despite me saying under my breath, "He's gonna bloody waste this"... Well he did in the end.

If Gerrard keeps the attitude up then he can **** off to the bench.

    You're the bloody captain.

He's done a fair bit of roaring at other players alright so far, spurring them on to play better hopefully!

LOL at Cesc when Lucas rolled the ball forward at the free kick award he rolls the ball back. Then tries to steal yards himself at a throw in
