Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Have you checked your BIOS settings ?
Sometimes you can set the PC to start up at regular times.

To wake a computer that is switched off you can send it a WOL "magic packet", if WOL is enabled in the bios.

Plenty of free magic packet senders, like here

But I think you want the computer to wake itself to allow a backup take place?

If so, you can create a task in the Task Scheduler which will start off the backup process or start a few minutes before the backup. Select the option "Wake computer to run this task".

Windows can only wake itself from suspend or sleep.
