Live in Leixlip - What Maternity Hospital?

    Anyone living in Leixlip or North Kildare have recommendations on which maternity hospital to use? Which would have handiest location to get to and anyone have good or bad reports on different hospitals?

    Go to the Coombe. We've had four in there, and never any problems. It's a quick run up the N4/M50/Naas road (except in rush hour!)

    You will probably have more luck on the parenting board.

    Holles St would be my suggestion and you can get the train to your appointments:)

    The Rotunda,Holles St(nmh),The Coombe and Mount Carmel are the Dublin hospitals.

    They all have websites that have information and pricing etc on them.

    Alot of people jsut pick the one closest to work as it is easier for appointments.

    Combe for delivery and maybe Naas for some of the check ups during pregnancy if planning on going in during peak hours- but basically Coombe all the way!

    Thanks for the info! Have booked into the Coombe, seemed the handiest for when the delivery day comes!

    We used the Coombe, would recommend there. Staff were brilliant.
