Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Gunns of Wexford Street.
Yeah I was away overseas for a few years and now back in Dublin. I always use Gunns simply because there is no B.S. about the wonderful people who work in the shop. Straight talk is the order of the day and help is always available.
Went in to Gunns a few days ago and found to my delight that it is still the Number 1 photo shop in the business.

yea, that's true. If i had the extra cash, i'd make a point of buying from them, but being a student and into photography just doesnt mix! Although, i'm off to New York after Christmas, so i'll be paying a visit to b&h to get my hands on a nice Tamron 28-75.
I'd have thought trips to New York and being a student wouldn't mix! :p

Have split this off from the Original Thread, as that one was from 2005.

Generally not a good idea to revive very old threads unless there is an exceptional reason.
