Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Wait until the risk of frost is gone in your area (eg after 20th april in midlands) but you dont want a drought period after sowing so june, july, august are seen as risky months (but with the summers we get lately little fear of drought), if you wait till autumn to sow it needs to be in ideally before mid sept to have it established enough before october frosts. I'd recommend may time because you can get a few grazings off your new grass before you close it up for the winter and it will tiller better the following spring and you'll be left with a good thick sward.

Should be in the ground by the 1st of May at the latest. Drought will destroy the emerging plant.

For autumn reseeding, last week Aug or first week Sept. If you are too late it will be difficult to graze it properly before conditions get bad.

depends on how heavily stocked you are.
late april if you are low stocked and can afford to loose out on the production. think it is about a10 - 12 wk turn around from last grazing till the next.
highly stocked farms can afford to loose out on production during peak growth, and are forced in to autumn reseeding as there is less of a loss in terms of t/ac
if i had a choice id go with the spring reseeding and just chicken scratch it with power harrow
