Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

He gets a mention here pretty much any time someone asks about alterations, so I think this is appropriate:
One of Galway's best-known tailors has retired after almost 40 years working in the city. Pat McDonagh operated from a number of premises around the city, before moving to his present location in Middle Street

Sorry to hear Mr. McDonagh has retired. I used to enjoy conversations with him whenever I had things that needed mending. He was always very patient with my - what must have proved painfully slow to him - sign language. A gentleman and a mighty fine tailor too. I wish him all the best in his retirement.
