Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Dirty Petrol from Maxol Artane anyone?

    Hi

    This might be a longshot, just wondering if anyone got petrol today or last few days from Maxol in Artane ( Opposite Artane Castle Shopping Centre) and now having problems with their car.
    Got petrol there this morning and now the car is back at the main dealer after being towed :mad:.
    Mechanic says it sounds like dirty or contaminated petrol in tank.

    I always use that station but had noticed the pumps being very slow recently and asked the guy behind the counter who said they were getting the pumps changed. There were people working on them recently while it was closed, I'd say approx 4 weeks ago, can't be 100% on the exact time.
    I have been using the maxol beside omni since so can't comment on the current batch of petrol.

    Hopefully its something for you to check out.

    He is insinuating that he got dirty petrol in Maxol Artane and publishing it. If it is not true, then it is a clear cut case of libel.

    He doesnt have to specifically state it was dirty, he just has to insinuate it and in my view he is insinuating it.

    Actually he was going with his mechanics opinion that it seems like dirty petrol might be the cause of his problem and was wondering if anyone else might have had a similar problem after filling from the same place. Not insinuiting anything. He's just asking a question.
