Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I recently used open office to modify my cv which was a word document. Saved in odt format. But could not print in internet cafe as microsoft word would not recognise it. I think the mistake i made was after modifying my cv in open office i should have saved it in microsft word 6.0 format which is microsoft word 2003 (i think ), am i correct ?

Yes correct, but the best way to do it is to get the document looking like you want and then pdf it. It will always look like you expect them.

you can pdf online here for free of you want http://www.pdfonline.com/convert%2Dpdf/

There is also online services like: http://www.pdfonline.com/convert-pdf/
A number of them do document conversion for free.
Search engine is your best option for tracking one down that suits you if you chose this route.

Yeah you should always save portable documents, that you plan on printing at internet cafes and etc. as PDFs as anybody can get their hands on Adobe but so very few people and places are wise to Open Office, or can afford to license Office
