Do what I did, just bite the bullet and buy one :)
Do it, it's worth it! :D

I have taken a fancy to my mom's mid-to-high-range compact recently that gives great results. I might just steal it. :D

Also, I vow that I will buy one of these at some stage during my lifetime.

Oh wow now I want that.

I've also wanted a lomo camera for ages, although I'd prefer to get a 35mm one to make it easier to get the photos developed.

Em... It's pretty much a snazzy a microphone, but it sort of catches the lower frequences better than a normal mic and makes the whole thing sound generally sexier :P

Looks sweet. I'm browsing the net for acoustic kits at the moment, been looking at the Gretsch Catalina Club Jazz. Great value apparently. Missing an extra rack tom but still looks quality.

    ctjazz_main.jpg

Actually got my old snare drum upstairs and cymbals, hardware so only really need the elements apart from those, don't know if you can buy those parts as a set.

Have you played that Yamaha kit yourself?

That looks really nice! Bet it sounds sweet. I love jazz drumming!

I've never played it, but there are a couple videos on youtube of people trying them out and they sound pretty okay. I just thought that particular set looked awesome! To be honest, the first step for me would just be to finally buy my own kit and then start worrying about upgrading to a nicer one. I've been meaning to buy one for 7 or 8 years!! It's ridiculous. I don't have a clue why I still haven't any! :(

Can't see anywhere on the Gretsch website offering just the drums or shells or anything... :(

I know it literally has anything you could ever want to know how to make. I was looking at it in the book shop and fell in love. I found it online for half the price but it's still €40 I don't have! I'll get it one day.
