Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I see a few posts on here about New vehicles, but we have bought a '05 Citroen Dispatch in Belfast as a second Animal Ambulance. Can anyone tell me what we do next please and how much it costs. Thanks

Without meaning to sound smart, how did you know it was more worthwhile buying up north without reasearching costs and comparing prices?

You'll have to take it to your local VRO and have it registered. Google vehicle registration offices , the frist link is a list of the offices.

It was well researched. Thanks, will get in touch with VR office. Does anyone know the cost of such things ?

    If it's a 2 or 3 seater van then it's €50 VRT.

If the van has been adapted to carry more than 3 people then it could be considerable.

How long do you have to register it ?

you should get it re-registered (and pay the VRT) within the next working day, but the VRT office will not penalise you if you take a bit longer... The customs patrols however are a different matter !

    It was well researched.

That doesn't appear to be the case, if you don't know how to VRT it.
