Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

B&W themselves recommend Rotel (apparently part of there co.). The Rotel RA-04 is supposed to be a great amp to drive the 685's ,it's essentially the RA-05 but doesn't have the remote. It gets great review from whathifi

Here's an impedance curve of the speaker: http://www.ultimateavmag.com/speakersystems/108bw/index6.html

It looks like a very amp friendly speaker (doesn't need a lot of current to get going), so any amp will be able to drive it with no problems providing it's got enough juice.

Choose an amp with low thd, high s/n ratio, etc. Perhaps with a good after-market value as well.
