Prison guards should be wary of any new inmates turning up with tattoos done in crayon that look suspiciously like the blueprints of a jail

Sure they might as well open the doors and leave them walk free.

You know since a ten year sentence in this country translates to three years on good behavior and a slap on the wrist.

Cops believe Dundon was on a 'dry run' for jail break

    PLANNING A BREAK: Dundon

GANGSTER Ger Dundon was on a "dry run" for a major jailbreak when he was nabbed tailing a prison van, gardai believe.Dundon and his gangland associate, Joe Hehir, were arrested on Thursday after gardai spotted them following an empty prison vehicle.
The pair had trailed the van from Wheatfield Prison where Dundon's brothers - Wayne (31) and Dessie (25) - are currently serving lengthy sentences.
But gardai were alerted and swooped on their car at the junction of the N4 and Kennelsfort Road in West Dublin at around 7pm.
The two men were arrested and taken to Ballyfermot Garda Station but were later released without charge.
Hehir (22), from Raheen Square in Ballinacurra-Weston, is regarded as a junior member of the notorious Dundon/McCarthy.
He is currently in a long-term relationship with Dundon's younger sister, Annabell.
This exclusive image shows Hehir posing for a photograph with Annabell at a Halloween party in 2008.
    Dispute

Last February, Hehir hit the headlines after he shot was in the back following a dispute with members of his own gang.
Gardai believe the two gangsters were on a test run to easy how easy it would be to highjack a van carrying Dundon's brother, Dessie.
Dessie is currently serving a life sentence for his role in the murder of crime boss Kieran Keane in 2003.
Last night, a senior source said: "We have reason to believe they were on a dry run to try and figure out if a prison break was possible.
"Dessie was the most likely target as Wayne is due out in April."
Last week, Ger (21) was released from prison after serving a six month sentence for driving offences.
The notorious thug, who has 84 previous convictions, was jailed last July and disqualified from driving for 15 years after he pleaded
    guilty to 34 motoring offences.
Wayne - described by a top detective as one of the most violent criminals in Ireland - is due for release from Wheatfield prison in
    April.
He was jailed in 2005 for threatening to kill a barman who refused to serve drink to his then 14-year-old sister, Annabell.
