That makes no sense whatsoever.

Yes it does, it's very simple.

Cheaper to employ workers -> painful for workers, better for employers -> employers more likely to come over here.

This sort of simplistic thinking is why I hate boards.

The private sector and public sector are not comparable. The former exists in the real world

Stopped reading here. If you are so blinded by agenda that you cannot understand that the public sector exists in the real world (real people providing real services to other real people, all of whom have real concerns and needs) then there is no point discussing this with you. Grow up and then try to engage.
