Apologies if this is completely in the wrong forum but I don't know where else to put it. If u have any idea let me know.

Have an older aunt who is suffering from Tinnitus. She needs to get a fixed phone for home (preferably cordless) that is of such quality in terms of earpiece that it minimises the discomfort for her.

Can anyone recommend one?, or point me to where I should be looking?.

    Tx in advance.

I found this forum that seems to cater to tinnitus sufferers : http://www.rnid.org.uk/community/forums/tinnitus/

There was a thread about telephones in there and someone said that they are less affected by using a phone that you can connect speakers to. Perhaps look for one of them? That would allow her to walk around the room also.

Thanks for your reply, would you believe that i have been looking on that website already but never found anything about telephones for tinnitus, any chance you can send me a link directly into the chat you were looking at because it sounds exactly like the info i need.

    Thanks again...

They don't mention any specific models, but here's the link anyway - http://www.rnid.org.uk/community/forums/tinnitus/telephone/
