    Hi folks,

Feel a bit stupid with thsi but here goes anyway.

I am trying to buy a set of hub cap / wheel trims for my car. The tyre size is R15, but if I put a tape measure across thr wheel, then rim seems to be 16".

According to a seller on ebay, if my tyres are R15, then I should order 14" trims.

Can anyone please make this simple for me ?
What size trims do I order for wheels with R15 tyres?

    Many thanks

    ps: Its a Megane.

i think ya just get them for the same size thats on the tyre, ie. 15/xxx/xx, get a 15'' hubcap and it will fit

    R15

    15 inch wheel caps.

The extra inch on your tape is because there is a bit of tyre in the rim, thats wwhy the tyres have to be forced on.

Dont know what your ebay seller is talking about.

If you have R15 tyres, you have 15" wheels. Yes the rim will measure alittle bigger due to the tyre being mounted in behind it alittle. Anyway, you order your wheel trims for 15" wheels and they will fit. If you were to actually measure the wheel trim, it will be nearer 16" but thats not important. So just order 15" wheel trim for 15" tyres
