    I wonder what it's like. I'd be curious if they use QoS etc. I'm sure they'll reach a point where it is profitable to push, though really they should be bundling it with broadband.

    looking at this they have enabled upstream QoS on their network to handle the voip traffic - they ask you to enable DSCP marking on the modem. This will mark the VoIP packets with a higher priority. The upstream Eircom routers will then prioritise the traffic....will be interesting to see if it works.
