fastrack railway system to send a package

Hi ianrod earrann (i know its not spelt right) used to do a service sameday. A friend told me about it nows its gone. How did it work and what were the rates does anyone know?? By the way used fastway in the end to send package,, just intrigued asto how railroad system worked. Thankyou.
