I think it's really weird and confusing the way they do that. Maybe try ringing again in a few days or something, ask for the persons name too.

Well I think I can help,

when I got tickets for Bruce in Ireland and America, it said just G3 or G9 etc,

and according to the people working there I asked it is used to get an idea of how many people are going to be standing, and it was the same with the people I asked in the American venue's, and an idea of how many sold, which does seem weird,

as G3 would mean 3000 and G9 would mean 9000 or something like that,

I'm certain you will be in the GA line...

    Cool..Thanks for That..:D..Clears It up a Lot..
Nearly every Gig thread on here has people panicking over what tickets theyve Got but that explains things better..How Many Security to assign to each section and so on...
Now to Get em to just change the Tickets to ..
GROUND FLOOR STANDING G3 .. CANT BE THAT DIFFICULT :pac:

Am I correct in thinking that the last time RATM played their own gig here was McGonagles sometime around '92 ?

Well I meant Ireland but I dont see your point, who gives a **** where it was.. are you a bogger with a chip on your shoulder??
They hardly came here and played their own gig in a venue in Tipp now did they

(and before someone points it out - no Feile doesnt count!)

The Answer to the Question is No,the last time they played "here" was in Belfast in 93 ,therefore ItsaWindUp's Question is a Perfectly good One to ask seeing as your location is in Dublin:rolleyes:
As for the Rest of your BS Did someone mention Chip On Shoulder;)

It couldn't be RATM in Tipperary surely.

Eh right sorry.. I had thought you were reaching for one of those ridiculous "take it to the Dublin forum" jobs that After Hours is always filled with, my apologies.

    Yes.. AT FEILE.

I don't think I'll be going to this. I love Rage, but I'm not paying 70+ euro to see socialist musicians who are playing a free gig next door. Unless Rage throw out free money at the concert I don't see how this is justified.

    **** O2.

MCD are now saying that Gogol Bordello are supporting. I listed to one of their songs and it doesn't seem like something most Rage fans might go for.

I saw them on later with jools holland - thought they were awful. I guess I won't be in any rush to the o2 on the night then!

I can't find this news anywhere?!?
But if it's true I'll be ****ing delighted, Gogol Bordello are an amazing live band

    tis a weird one alright.

Right, these Gogol Bordello crowd sound a bit too eurovision like, can't really see this going down well at the concert especially with the other support being Gallows.

Hey, does anyone know about buses going to this from the Midlands (Like Portlaois or somewhere)

  • Registered Users Posts: 275 ✭✭TopBombing

Really looking forward to this gig, not looking like it'll a sell out mind you.

I CAN. NOT. WAIT. Until tomorrow. It'll be my second time seeing them (first time was at Oxegen; I was the dude with the inverted American flag). I got a seated ticket, but I don't believe that will stop me from getting to the standing area. ^_^
