Is it possible here that the union could cause BOS to say feck it, if strike goes ahead we totally pull out and therefore unions costing another 850 jobs?

Surely unions should be trying to work with BOS for the sake of the other 850 jobs left

Common sense is not something that is associated with trade unions these days, the union Unite is powerless when dealing with a multinational, a couple of companies have recently completed shut up shop in Ireland because of union inflexibility ie the meat processing factory in Naas and that factory in Co Louth.

In case the Unite head honchos aren't aware BOS isn't part of the protected Public sector, but what the hell if they want BOS to completely pull out of Ireland then they are going about it the right way.
