Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back a page or two to re-sync the thread and this will then show latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I'm 99% certain that the vga port on your laptop is vga out, not vga in, making what you are trying to do impossible I'm afraid.

Yes that is correct. I used a VGA cable to connect my xbox to my PC monitor but thats not the same thing that is a VGA in.

Laptops have VGA out as said above, and I don't know any laptop that has a dual switch (I/O) on the VGA port. Thus hooking up the VGA cable to the laptop won't have any effect, you won't be able to use the laptop screen as a display for the console.

Actually some dell models come with this as an option. Its an usually option alright, but I hook my ps1 up to my laptop when I am traveling. It can be done - but check the laptop specs
