Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Following on the heels of Bray's coming No.1 in the Irish Business Against Litter Survey, the Bray Litter Taslk Force have decided to hold a Photo competition
on the Theme "Bray through your Eyes".
I know I am setting myself up for a fall but the idea is to promote pride of place and promote the beauty of Bray and promote a positive attitude about Bray.
    There are three categories
Primary Schools, Secondary Schools and Open Category

entries can be submitted to braythroughyoureyes@gmail.com
or hard copies to Litter Task Force Photo Comp,Bray Town Council, Civic Office, Main Street, Bray
please include category of entry and category being entered.

The prizes are book tokens and overall prize of a a decent camera, I will post more details as I get them, current closing date is 28th of Feb but this will probably be extended slightly. There will also be a public presentation to the prize winners.

Community Gardai are speading the word on their visits to local schools and I would apprcaite if people could spread the word here. The comp is mainly aimed at people, either living, working or at school in Bray, but again regular visitors to the town will not be disqualified.
The spirit of the thing is about lifting our Pride in Bray, lift the morale of the people and maybe show the world what a beatiful place Bray can be. Its not a major professional photographers competition , but all entries are welcome.
The photo's cannot be returned and may be used by the task force for exhibition or publicity purposes.
