Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

its the way we have been playing the the CL (and any big game really) for a few years now.

I'm always moaning about the defensive nature of the side.

Games like the Arsenal matches in teh CL last season and the Arsenal game recently have left me with egg on my face.

It may look a tad defensive but it's a good counter attacking lineup.

Counter attacking isn't defensive imo. It's a fantastic system to play away from home in Europe.

Rafael worries me on the right. Fantastic prospect but this is a huge night for him and posibly comes a season or two early. Nani better get the finger out and help him bigtime tonight.

Becks interview on Sky Sports now...

Scholes to cream Beckham within 5 minutes. Say scholes hates him and has been holding it in for years.

Great interview with Beckham on Sky at the moment, have to say I'm a big fan.

This is the most nervous I've been before a CL match since the Barca semi-final.

Boss just said on Sky Sports that he expects Becks to play CM.

I'm just really looking forward to the game now. A 2-2 draw is my call.

He will match Dinho for pace anyway. He has looked good since the city game.

"David Beckham is one of only six players to have play for AC Milan and Manchester United. The others are Joe Jordan, Ray Wilkins, Massimo Taibi, Jesper Blomqvist and Jaap Stam.

    Taibi lol.

Anyone else's commentary on tv3 about 3 seconds ahead of the picture?

Commentator shouted 'Goal' before Ronaldinho even had the ball...

I can't watch, what does Fergie look like?

Evra acting the clown, no one marking Ronaldinho.

TV3 commentary 5 seconds ahead of play, terribly annoying.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,172 ✭✭✭✭kmart6

What's with the commentary being a mile ahead on picture on TV3!? Is it the same on Sky!?

Yeah I noticed that. Evra was trying to clear and the commentator was saying GOAL.

Weird. As Evra was messing up the clearance, the commentator was already saying that it was a goal for Milan, and crowd was already celebrating.

/has been said. Not just my telly, I see. Yeah, very annoying.

This is actually a joke. Not even a word of apology from the commentators so far either.

Surely someone from TV3 must have realised by now??

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 19,432 ✭✭✭✭Liam O

    It's all Carrick's fault tbh...

Awful from United, but you'll never see a jammier goal in the Champions League.

And what the hell is the problem with TV3?
Every time they get to broadcast football they ruin it.
    What a bunch of clowns.

    Glazers Out!
